The Southern African Association of Youth Clubs [SAAYC] SAAYC for the last 75years has in various forms been dedicated to advance innovative ways to impact the lives of youth in Southern Africa. We offer a range of youth-focused and development services across Southern Africa and we have a track record of providing individual and organizational training to promote leadership, educational proficiency, and innovative spirit. Our aim is to grow and enhance that vision by strategically investing resources and capacity into our country’s most needy communities. We function as an umbrella body for youth clubs nationally and provides support and co-ordinates activities for its members. It is a fully fledged youth service organisation. SAAYC provides services to youth practitioners, leaders, individuals, clubs and organisations. SAAYC programmes offer leadership development skills, computer, life-skills, adolescent reproductive health, education and training, sport and recreation, performing arts amongst other. We also assist our member clubs with Grants that may build their club’s infrastructure and encourage sustainability, and have an Awards Programme for SAAYC clubs to compete in. We operate through 4 resource centre located in Phefeni [Soweto], Orange Farm and Sebokneg [Vaal], Makeneng [QwaQwa Free state] and Etwatwa [Ekurhuleni].
