Projects
1. Promoting democracy through increased participation in democratic processes: this project aims to engage active citizens through a two-fold strategy: training civil society organisations to build community through dialogue, and training community radio stations to host talk shows on topical issues of democracy and good governance. 2. Partners in Transformation: training of ward committees and ward councillors to engage communities, traditional leadership and other stakeholders in community development. 3. Civil Society approach to Integrated Development Planning: development of a manual and training to assist CSOs to engage with municipal planning and budgeting processes. 4. Schools democracy programme: empowering youth through training and assistance in developing and implementing positive interventions in their schools and communities.
