Projects

Projects Security of Farm Workers Project: was established in 1998 to actively enforce the rights of farm workers in terms of extension of security of Tenure Act 62 of 1997 Refugee and Migrant Rights Project: The project advocates for and enforces the rights of migrants and refugees in South Africa. It provides legal services to those clients and training to relevant role players. Child Rights Projects: Established in 1995, it focuses on children in conflict with the law; working on farms, living on streets, abused, neglected, orphaned and vulnerable. Legal Assistance Cluster: was formed in 2003 to campaign for the recognition of Paralegals in South Africa. Strategic Litigation Union: The Unit focuses on ensuring lawful administrative action in indigent and persons land claim matters and numerous unlawful practises within the Department of Home Affairs.
