Strengthening relationships between Wits University and key outside constituencies, including donors, individual philanthropists, alumni, and supporters to increase its organisational and financial sustainability. The South African Foundation for Advancement designed for South Africans at home and abroad to grow South African philanthropy and to contribute to education, social development and the promotion of innovation. The Inyathelo Awards for Philanthropy to recognize extraordinary individuals who have shown outstanding leadership in the advancement of philanthropy; the development of charitable programmes; and the creation of a culture of giving in South Africa The Youth in Philanthropy Programme South Africa (YIPPSA) is a schools-based programme that concurrently imparts life-skills education and builds a culture of giving and service among high school learners. Training Programmes: The Institute’s training centre in Cape Town has been conceptualized as a dynamic and vibrant learning environment for practitioners in the Advancement field. In addition, we deliver theoretical and practical training workshops on Advancement in all regions of South Africa. We also offer the full set of modules, or a customized package, to clients at their own premises. The training programmes would either be non-profit workshops for cadetships. |
